Extending the field again 1993/94

Some of the younger contingent in the Club may curse the stream at the bottom end of the ground but many of us remember the bad old days when occasionally the ball would find itself in the dyke that ran from beside the nets down the southern side to the stream. Unfortunately, the dyke was often very muddy, and deep enough for a replacement to be requested! The dyke was piped and covered after the 1993 season and the extended field came into play the following year.
