This picture was probably taken at Marsh Point, Lancaster when the 2nd XI played in the Lancaster & District League. Whilst the 1st XI played in the Westmorland League, the 2nds started their life in the local Country Cricket League in the early 1950s, along with teams such as Bare and Halton, before joining the much larger District League. They had early success, too, winning Division 4 in 1956, and eventually joined the Westmorland League in 1965.
